What started as a VA business offering design and marketing services in 2015, has evolved over the years and we felt that a name change was in order to reflect what the company has become. Thank you to all of our clients, past and present. We wouldn’t have made it this far without your support. What you need to know We are now officially called The Virtual Assistant Company and our website and email addresses have been updated to reflect this. You will notice our company logo name and logo gradually being rolled out across our invoicing system and various platforms. Why we’re here Jonathan started this business because he understood that in order to grow a business, you can’t do it alone. He also experienced first-hand the struggle of trying to build a business as a dyslexic, and quickly recognised the value of a great assistant. 2019 and beyond Jonathan had initially formed the business in 2015 offering design and marketing services as well as support with tech tasks. Bethan joined the business in late 2015, bringing her administrative, PA and event management experience. Realising that all these things (and more) could be done virtually, they combined their experience to provide fundamental help for businesses and busy entrepreneurs, whilst offering a flexible and rewarding way of working. MTM Awards 2019: Finalists & Winners

Happy New Year everyone! We hope you all had a great festive period and are having a great start to 2020. We’re feeling refreshed after a few days off for the holidays, but now we’re back to business and wanted to provide a company update following the MTM Awards 2019, which was held at the prestigious Bristol Marriott city centre hotel on 15th December. We’re delighted to annouce that we were finalists for four awards, in addition to our directors, Jonathan and Bethan Trueman, being joint finalists for the ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ award. With such fierce competition across the South West region, from Cornwall to Gloucestershire, we’re honoured to have been recognised by the awards committee, making the top few businesses amongst hundreds of nominees. Since incorporating in June 2019 we’ve worked hard in line with our company values and we’re really proud of what we’ve achieved so far. Little did we know that six months later we’d be recognised at one the of region’s largest and most recognised business awards ceremony. Our directors, Jonathan E. Trueman and Bethan G. Trueman walked away jointly and deservedly winning ‘Entrepreneur of the Year’ 2019 and we are absolutely thrilled to have gained such a significant title! As a family business it can sometimes be difficult to stand out from the crowd amongst larger corporate companies, so we are very proud to have scooped the title! We’d like to say thank you to the organisers and the awards committee for organising a fantastic event and providing such a brilliant platform for local business to network, connect and celebrate.
